Julia and Dimitri’s private wedding on Paipu Beach

Julia and Dimitri had originally hoped to visit our islands earlier than February, but a little "surprise" got in the way — they had to wait three months to make sure the baby was ready for the long trip from Russia to Hawaii. The bride's hair and makeup started at 5:00 a.m., thanks to the wonderful Jackie Cavallo, who didn't mind waking at 3:30 to be at their hotel that early. Julia wore the perfect gown, one that nearly hid her little baby bump, and the couple chose an early morning ceremony on Paipu Beach in hopes of having the beach all to themselves. Laki Kaahumanu and Kaniala Masoe helped make the ceremony intimate, fun, and unforgettable. We can't wait to meet their baby soon, as they're already planning to return to the islands.
